A better interoperability and integration among systems is required, establishing a negotiation with communities and individuals by means of information and opinions polling systems. For this reasons SII-MOBILITY consists in an federated/integrated interoperable solution aimed at enabling a wide range of specific applications for private services to citizen and commercial services to SME. The partners of Sii-Mobility are active at an international level in projects and committees devoted to standardisations in this domain.

The ASMARA project aims to develop, in the port city of Bari and Cagliari, a pilot system for decisional support, integrating port information systems with those for the management of urban mobility, building on the basis of what has been developed within the European MIELE project. The objective is in fact to develop an integrated system that will allow optimization of traffic flows that affect cities as a result of port activities. The proposed project aims to contribute to reducing the level of congestion related to traffic that originates from traffic flows to and from the port while providing real-time information to all services (public transport, tourist services, local police, etc.).
