Open City Platform (OCP) intends to research and experiment with new sustainable organizational models for innovating, with scientific and technological achievements, the provisioning of services by local governments to citizens, businesses and other government departments with a cloud computing solution, open, interoperable, standards-compliant that can be used on-demand. The research will define a new paradigm for service delivery closing the gap between availability and use.

The Decision Theater project concerns the development of a platform to build, validate and create complex data models, capable of exploiting the information assets available to the Public Administration and supporting the strategic planning of development policies for the Smart Cities, which are meant as complex ecosystems featured by interdisciplinary factors. The project aims at developing a tool which allows to evaluate alternative scenarios so as to achieve the PA objectives, address the resources, plan the investments, and evaluate the impact of economic incentive and social participation policies.
