(AGI) Copenhagen, April 22 - Italian and Danish businesses have met at the Economic Council in Copenhagen. Representatives of Italian promotional and international bodies, including the Italian Trade Agency in Stockholm, the military attache in Berlin, the Italian-Danish Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Institute of Culture in Copenhagen attended the meeting at the residence of the Italian Ambassador to Denmark, Stefano Queirolo Palmas.. The embassy's commercial office explained trends in bilateral trade, investment and tourist flow, particularly in leading Italian exports. Chief advisor to the Danish Trade Council, Steen Thorsted presented Danish foreign business promotion strategy, and Nicola Lener, head of Internalisation at the Italian Foreign Office, set out guidelines for promoting Italian companies abroad focusing on the most innovative ventures. Prysmian Denmark CEO Halli Hara presented case study of an Italian firm operating in Denmark. On the eve of the meeting a dinner was held at the residence, attended by company heads, country managers and representatives of firms active inItaly and Denmark. The importance and healthy state of trade exchanges were illustrated by the head of the Danish Trade Council Lars Thuesen and the head of international relations at the business association Danske Industri, Jens Holst-Nielsen. It was also attended by the Italian ambassador, Danish Ambassador Erik Vistrup Lorenzen and President of the Italian-Danish Chamber of Commerce Jan Snogdal. (AGI).
