(AGI) Madrid, Jan 19 - The craftsmanship of luthiers and bow makers will be on show in Madrid. The Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid is to host workshops and seminars on Jan. 26-28, held by the masters of the Academia Cremonensis of Cremona, Italy. Three days will be completely devoted to music. A concert will be organised by Concuerda featuring two violins and a cello from the Academia Cremonensis plus a double bass and a guitar from the Concuerda Group. The event will be organised with seminars, violin and bow workshops, acoustic trials, measuring techniques and talks about the Academia Cremonensis string quartet. On the last day, there will be a presentation of Maestro Giovanni Lucchi's special gold-mounted quartet, organised by Fondazione Lucchi. The event has been organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid, in cooperation with Academia Cremonensis and Fundacion de Ferrocarriles Espanoles. (AGI).
