(VELINO) Roma, 4 Apr - Lithuania's National Art Gallery will launch the international exhibition titled "MAGMA. Writing in bodies. Italy and Lithuania from 1965 to nowadays" on April 14 in Vilnius. The exhibition, organised through the cooperation of the Italian Cultural Institute in Vilnius and the Italian Embassy, will showcase the work of major Italian and Lithuanian artists such as Mirella Bentivoglio, Suzanne Santoro, Lucia Marcucci, Cloti Ricciardi, Maria Lai, Verita Monselles, Ketty La Rocca, Nicole Gravier, Chiara Fumai, Jurga Barilaite, Egle Ganda Bogdaniene, Violeta Bubelyte, Coolturistes, Coro Collective, Laura Garbstiene, Karla Gruodis, Kristina Inciuraite, Egle Kuckaite, Lina Lapelyte, Giedre Liliene, Aurejia Maknyte, Paulina Pukyte, Egle Ridikaite, Marija Terese Rozanskaite, Laisvyde Salciute, Egle Vertelkaite. The event has been designed to offer the opportunity of making a critical analysis of the origins of feminist art and of Italian and Lithuanian feminism.
