Warsaw - Italy will participate at the Warsaw Book Fair, which takes place in the capital city on 18 to 21 May. Among the featured personalities at the event will be the Italian writer and journalist Paolo Rumiz, who will launch the Polish edition of his book "La leggenda dei monti naviganti".
Joanna Malawska, the translator, is among the finalists for the Kapuscinski Prize. The fair, now at its 8th edition, will also host the display stand of the Italian Cultural Institute, being set up in cooperation with Cracow's Liberia Italicus. It will be a meeting point between visitors and Italian culture, between readers of Italian books in Italian and Polish, and between students and writers.
Among the guests at the stand will be Gianni Garelli, co-author of "Al lavoro! Corso di italiano per stranieri in contesto lavorativo".
