Moscow - The eighth edition of the Festival "Da Venezia a Mosca" [From Venice to Moscow], organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow in collaboration with La Biennale di Venezia, will open on March 9 at Moscow's Oktjabr Cinema and run until March 14.
The film festival offers a broad selection of Italian cinema, including 10 films from among those presented at the most recent Venice International Film Festival. The event will open with "Questi giorni" ["These Days"] by film director Giuseppe Piccioni. The programme will also include "L'estate addosso" [Summertime] by Gabriele Muccino and "Tommaso" by Kim Rossi Stuart, who will attend the closing ceremony of the Moscow event.
The film festival will then move to St. Petersburg (Cinema Rodina, 11-16 March), Novosibirsk (Cinema Pobeda, 14-19 March) and, for the first time, to Kalinigrad (Kalinigrad Plaza, 23-28 March).
