Rome - Simest, a financial institution of the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti group for the development and promotion of Italian enterprises abroad, is supporting the growth of Gruppo Magnaghi in Brazil. The Naples-based company designs and produces landing gears for the aviation industry. Simest has increased its stake in Magnaghi Aeronautica do Brasil Participacoes to 40 percent, undersigning a capital increase of 1.2 million euros. The capital increase is meant to support the company's organizational growth as well as its size, with a view to making it into a production hub of Gruppo Magnaghi for the Brasilian market. The consolidation of the Group in Brazil will entail intercompany contracts therefore generating a positive impact in Italy, as well. The Gruppo Magnaghi Aeronautica had a consolidated turnover of 90 million euros in 2015, and 884 employees. Magnaghi is also a client of Sace, which guaranteed the funding and ensured supplies from the subsidiary Salver to the United Kingdom. (AGI). .
