(AGI) Rho, Milan, July 3 - More than six million people havevisited Expo 2015 in Milan since it opened in May. Expocommissioner Giuseppe Sala said he was pleased with the result, and a surge of visitors was expected in September and October. He said: "The final two months of Expo will draw most visitorsfor two reasons: the lower temperatures and the fact thatpeople will know the event is about to close." He said mostforeign visitors arrived from the East and Europe and the eventcounted on people telling each other about it, without much TVpublicity. "My goal is to bring as many people as possible toExpo," he said. The first weekend in which people arrivingby car entered for free increased the number of parked cars by30-40 percent, he said. This meant better use of car parks, which were hardly used at first as most visitors used publictransport. Last weekend people parking in Arese, Fiera Milanoor Trenno received a complimentary ticket for the evening. Thefirst weekend of the new promotion raised the use of parkingareas by more than a third. . .
