Poor Italian GDP figures push Milan stocks down
(AGI) Milan, Aug 6 -The Milan Stock Exchange extended itslosses on Wednesday after the release of Italy's GDP figuresfor the second quarter that showed the country had slipped backinto recession. The FTSE MIB was down 2.8 percent at 20,680points at 11.30 a.m., and the All Share had lost 0.72 percent.There was a flurry of sales on the main list, with the bank BPMdown 4.86 percent and Fiat 7.3 percent.
