(AGI) Washington, Aug. 26 - An ex-WDBJ TV reporter murdered twoof his former colleagues live on air in Virginia before postinga video on Twitter. Viewers of WDBJ watched in horror as theshooter, the 41-year-old African American Vester Lee Flanagan,shot and killed the 24-year-old rising star Alison Parker andthe 27-year-old cameraman Adam Ward. Parker's boyfriend of ninemonths was WDBJ reporter Chris Hurst. The couple recently movedin together, as he posted on Twitter after the tragedy: "Wedidn't share this publicly, but we were very much in love. Wejust moved in together," Hurst wrote. Colleagues describedParker as a news 'rockstar' with a great passion for herprofession. Born in Virginia, she started her career at WDBJ 7with an internship while studying at Madison University. AdamWard had just turned 27 and was planning a move to Charlottewhere his girlfriend, Melissa Ott, had found a new job. "Heproved himself to be just a fine photojournalist, and the kindof guy who, when he was on his way home from work and heardabout something breaking, he would just turn around and go doit," said Jeffrey Marks, the station's general manager.
