(AGI) Rome, Dec 11 - Swiss pharmaceutical giant Roche islaunching the COBAS HIV-1 and COBAS HCV test on the market,thus expanding the menu of new molecular diagnostic platformsfor monitoring viral load. It is a high performance test usefulfor the treatment of patients with HIV or Hepatitis C. Alongwith these tests, in the coming months COBAS CMV and COBAS HBVare due to arrive, which will complete the main portfolio oftests for the monitoring of the viral load on COBAS 6800/8800systems.
