Panic at Hindu festival in India kills 33

(AGI) New Delhi, Oct 4 - At least 33 people, most of them womenand children, were killed and 26 injured in a stampede in thenorthern Indian city of Patna. Five of the injured are on thedanger list. Panic broke out during a Hindu festival when anelectric cable snapped with a loud bang, leading many tobelieve a bomb had gone off. An investigation has been opened,officials said. .
