Roma - P&C (Shenzhen) Industry Fund Management Partnership e' un fondo di investimento nato di recente, costituito da Poly Group e Citic. Poly Group ha sede a Pechino ed e' uno dei maggiori gruppi di investimenti cinesi che opera nel settore del trading del real estate, della cultura e delle risorse minerarie sotto l'amministrazione della Sasac, la Comissione di Vigilanza sugli asset delle Aziende di Stato del governo cinese. Nata con l'approvazione del Consiglio di Stato (il governo cinese) e della Commissione Militare Centrale, Poly, oggi, gestisce oltre seicento aziende con sessantamila addetti in oltre cento Paesi e in oltre cento citta' all'interno della Cina. Attiva da oltre venti anni, la conglomerata e' nata nel 1992 e fonda la propria azione su quelli che definisce come i "5 pilastri": commercio internazionale, real estate, arte e cultura, investimenti ed esplorazioni delle risorse, ed esplosivi a uso civile. Nella classifica dei 500 piu' grandi gruppi del mondo stilata lo scorso anno della rivista Fortune, Poly era al 457esimo posto, con ricavi operativi nel 2014 pari a poco piu' di 26 miliardi di dollari. Al gruppo fanno capo quattro aziende quotate: Poly Real Estate, Poly Property, Poly Culture e Guizhou Jiulian Industrial Explosive Materials Development. A capo del gruppo, dal 2013, siede Xu Niansha che e' anche membro della Conferenza Consultiva Politica del Popolo Cinese, l'organo piu' importante di consulenza dell'Assemblea Nazionale del Popolo, il parlamento cinese, che si riunisce quest'anno, a partire dal 3 marzo prossimo. In passato ha ricoperto importanti cariche per alcuni tra i nomi di spicco dell'industria cinese; laureato in legge e in economia, Xu e' stato general manager di Huahai, uno dei maggiori gruppi di real estate cinese, e di China Ocean Aviation Group e vice presidente di China National Machinery Industry Corporation e di Citic Offshore Helicopter.
Citic, invece, e' la piu' grande conglomerata cinese fondata sotto Deng. Quotata a Hong Kong, Citic (China International Trust & Investment Company) si definisce "pioniere nella riforma economica cinese" ed e' la piu' grande conglomerata cinese di investimenti. Fondata alla fine degli anni Settanta dal miliardario Rong Yiren, descritto dal settimanale "The Economist" come figura carismatica e misteriosa, Citic e' nata con l'approvazione diretta dell'allora leader Deng Xiaoping, e oggi opera in diversi campi industriali: dal real estate alle infrastrutture, dai servizi finanziari all'energia. E il calcio, con l'interesse manifestato per acquisto del 48% del Milan, e la gestione di una delle maggiori squadre del campionato cinese, il Guoan di Pechino. Nella classifica del 2014 dei piu' grandi gruppi del mondo stilata da Fortune, Citic figurava al 160esimo posto. Citic Group e' la controllante di Citic Securities, il cui nome e' comparso piu' volte sui media cinesi in relazione ai crolli delle Borse cinesi cominciati la scorsa estate; secondo le prime stime, nel 2015 Citic Securities ha realizzato un aumento degli utili del 74,9% rispetto all'anno precedente, a 19,8 miliardi di yuan (tre miliardi di dollari). Dal mese scorso, a capo di Citic Securities c'e' Zhang Youjun, ex senior executive di Citic Group. Oggi, a capo del board of directors del gruppo siede Chang Zhenming, che in passato era stato anche vice presidente di uno dei colossi bancari cinesi, China Construction Bank, e vice presidente di Cathay Pacific Airways.
