Thirty-four die in Central African Republic massacres
(AGI) Bangui, Aug 16 - At least 34 people have been killed inthe Central African Republic in the past three days, despitethe presence of French and African Union troops. Former SelekaMuslim rebels and members of the nomadic Fulani group, alsofaithful to Islam, carried out the massacres in severalnorthern villages, according to the African-led InternationalSupport Mission to the Central African Republic (MISCA).Religion-based civil war has been raging in the country sinceearly 2013.
