(AGI) Vatican, June 8 - Pope Francis welcomed Shimon Peres witha very cordial hug as he arrived at St Martha's House in theVatican on Sunday. The Pope was accompanied by the Custodian ofthe Holy Land, Fr Pierbattista Pizzaballa. The Prefect of thePapal Household welcomed Mr Peres inside the building, afterwhich he was taken straight into a room where a conversationtook place, attended by Ambassador Zion Evrony and twointerpreters (Fr Pizzaballa was interpreting for the Pope).(AGI) . .
