'Russian Google' to start Moscow trading on Wednesday
(AGI) Moscow, June 3 - Shares of Russia's biggest searchengine, Yandex, will be traded on the Moscow Exchange fromWednesday, the company announced. The move is in line with thegovernment's campaign to get local companies to cut dependenceon foreign bourses. "This local listing responds to demand frominvestors in Russia," Chief Executive Officer Arkady Volozhsaid in a statement. The Amsterdam-based firm was listed on theNasdaq in 2011 and will start trading on the Moscow exchangetomorrow in rubles under the YNDX ticker. . .
