(AGI) Shanghai, May 4 - The Rome Auditorium, the Centre GeorgesPompidou in Paris, Kansai airport in Osaka, Potsdamer Platz inBerlin, the New York Times Building, the London Bridge Tower(the Shard) are just some of the architectural masterpiecescreated by Renzo Piano, on show in Shanghai. With "Piece bypiece, Renzo Piano Building Workshop", the Shanghai PowerStation Museum of Art hosts scale models, drawings,photographs, videos and sketches of the works, in the stararchitect's first Chinese retrospective. Atthe inauguration in late March Mr Piano gave a well-receivedspeech to a crowded conference, explaining the spirit ofcuriosity, adventure and coherence that has inspired and guidedthe creation of his work.
