Eighteen hours after its departure fromGiglio, it is now moving between the islands of Montecristo andPianosa. The wreck is being towed by giant tugboats, theBlizzard and the Resolve Earl, at a speed of approximately 2knots and is being escorted by the Italian Coast Guard supportship "Diciotti", which is in charge of maintaining a securityarea around the convoy.
