Smooth sailing for Costa Concordia through the night
(AGI) Florence, July 24 - The Costa Concordia was towed 46 ofthe 180 miles separating Giglio Island from Genoa duringWednesday night. Eighteen hours after its departure fromGiglio, it is now moving between the islands of Montecristo andPianosa. The wreck is being towed by giant tugboats, theBlizzard and the Resolve Earl, at a speed of approximately 2knots and is being escorted by the Italian Coast Guard supportship "Diciotti", which is in charge of maintaining a securityarea around the convoy.
