IMF cuts 2014 Eurozone GDP to 1. 1pct

(AGI) - Washington, July 14 - The eurozone recovery is weak andthe region risks falling into deflation, the InternationalMonetary Fund has warned, lowering the estimated GDP growth forthe area to 1.1 percent, from the 1.2 percent forecast in thespring World Economic Outlook, confirming growth expected in2015 at 1.5 percent. The report was published followingconsultations on the Eurozone, emphasising how growth was lowerthan expected in the first quarter and not homogeneous acrossthe different countries. (AGI) . .
