IMF cuts U. S. growth estimates for 2014
(AGI) New York, June 16 - The International Monetary Fund hasreduced its estimates for U.S. economic growth this year from2.8 percent to 2 percent, because of a "weak first quarter."The IMF's forecast for America's GDP growth for next year is 3percent and predicts U.S. growth rate will be around 2 percentfor a number of years, "below the historical median" but willregain full employment by the end of 2017.
