(VELINO) Roma, 10 Jun - Actor Ivan Espeche will perform"Hypothesis of hell", a production that pays homage to DanteAlighieri, on June 16 at the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC)in Buenos Aires. On the occasion of the celebrations for the750th anniversary of the birth of one of the most importantauthors in the history of Italian culture and world literature,Argentina's "Mate Kudasai" group presents a play with arevolutionary production technology based on the Divine Comedy. The play has a one-man, performative and multimedia formatwith Ivan Espeche, from an idea by Pablo de la Reta anddirected by Leo Kreimer. The event is part of "Verano Italiano"2015, a joint initiative between the Italian embassy, theconsulate-general in Buenos Aires, the Italian CulturalInstitute (IIC), the Italian Tourist Board and the ItalianInstitute for Foreign Trade, as well as the Ministry of Cultureof Buenos Aires. The aim of the festival, founded in 2013, isto celebrate Italian cinema, music, opera, art, food and wine.This year is a special edition as it falls in the same periodas the Universal Exhibition in Milan. To this end, the Week ofthe Italian cuisine in Buenos Aires (Aug. 24 to 30) will bededicated to Expo with over 30 Italian restaurants andpizzerias in the capital presenting special menus atpromotional prices.
