ITALY'S INTERNATIONALISATION POLICY SHOWCASED IN VICENZA

(VELINO) Roma, 25 Mar - Vicenza will be the venue for the nextstep of the road show featuring Italy's industrialinternationalisation policies on Mar. 26. The programmeincludes, from 9.45 to 11.30 a.m., a plenary session withdistinguished guests from the institutional and financialworlds who will present tools and strategies to supportbusinesses on global markets. The same businessmen and womenwill then meet representatives of all the organisationsattending, namely the Italian Trade Commission (ICE), Italianinsurance and financial product group SACE, business supportagency SIMEST, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, theEconomic Development Ministry, craft and small businessassociation Confartigianato Vicenza, Rete Imprese Italia(Italian Business Network), Confindustria employers'organisation and Unioncamere chambers of commerce. The openingspeeches will be delivered by Agostino Bonomo, president ofConfartigianato Vicenza, Ambassador Andrea Meloni, directorgeneral of the Promozione del Sistema Paese (Italian economicpromotion agency) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs andInternational Cooperation, and Marino Finozzi, counsellor ofthe Veneto regional administration's tourism and foreign tradeoffices. The technical session will be introduced by counsellorNicola Lener, head of the international business offices of theForeign Ministry. Other addresses will be delivered by RobertoLuongo, director general of ICE, Simonetta Acri, director ofRete Domestica SACE, and Marco Rosati, SIMEST Desk ItaliaSupervisor. The road shows have been organised by the "Cabinadi regia per l'Italia internazionale", promoted by the ForeignMinistry and supported by the Economic Development Ministry. Itwill be the first time both public and private stakeholderswill meet to discuss Italy's industrial system (Sistema Italia)for medium-term projects across the nation. vel.
