(VELINO) Roma, 21 Feb - Bruno Canino and Davide Alogna will perform in a concert scheduled for Thursday, 23 February, at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris. Canino is a widely acclaimed successful musician while Alogna has only recently made his debut on the international music scene but at venues such as New York's Carnegie Hall, Tokyo's Suntory Hall and Munich's Herkulesaal. Their duo has received excellent international reviews thanks to their great musical empathy and the common language that evolves from it. The "Suonare News" magazine dedicated its cover to the duo's CD in September 2016. The Sonatas for violin and piano on the programme (including a repertory of Mozart, Brahms and Saint-Saens, but also Guido Alberto Fano) offer a unique overview of all the music written for these two instruments, highlighting unexpected affinities between the composers, who are far apart in terms of historical periods and styles but united by the language of music. vel
