(VELINO) Roma, 10 Feb - The Italian Cultural Institute in Sofia organised a concert of European music by the Anemos Quintet at the Concert Hall of the Central Military Club of Sofia for next 16 February. The quintet was established in 2008 thanks to the commitment of five young musicians from the region of Friuli to grapple with the vast repertory for wind instruments from the 18th century to our days. The Quintet studied in Ljubljana with Paolo Calligaris, the bassoonist of the Slowind Quintet, one of the most important ensembles on the European music scene. Taken separately, the components of the group work with orchestras of the calibre of the Academy of the Teatro La Scala of Milan, of the Teatro La Fenice of Venice, the Symphonic Orchestra of San Remo, the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic Orchestra of Parma and many more. The Quintest has won several music contests. vel
