Montreal - Italian writer Marcello Fois will participate in the 19th edition of the Blue Metropolis Festival, to take place in Montreal.
The festival is the first international multilingual literature festival, established in 1999 in the Canadian city. Marcello Fois will represent Italian contemporary literature.
Supported by the Italian Cultural Institute, Mr Fois will participate on Thursday April 27 in Babel Blue, an event where writers explain the musicality of their language in literature. On the programme for the following day is a round table focusing on the question, "Can a society really reconcile with its past?" On Sunday 30 April, Mr Fois will participate in the discussion "Ecrire, creer dans le temps troubles".
It will be introduced by Anne Pasquier, where Mr Fois will be alongside French writer Catherine Hermary-Vieille, translator Marie Costa, and Marc Bergere.
