Ankara - The Italian Embassy in Ankara is organizing a lecture by architect Marco Paolo Servalli in cooperation with the Department of Architecture of the University of Bilkent. Mr Servalli’s long creative experience has also left tangible evidence in Turkey. Among his works worthy of mention are the Garden and the Italian Pavilion at the Expo Antalya 2016 cultural exhibition, where Mr Servalli was awarded second prize for best architectural project.
The event is part of the programme of the “Italian Design Day in the World”, an initiative launched by the Farnesina to take place simultaneously in 100 cities across the globe where famous Italian designers and architects will become, for one day, the ‘Italian design ambassadors in the world’.
The Ankara lecture, to take place on March 2 at 10:40 a.m. at the Department of Architecture of the University of Bilkent, will be entitled “The Italian Pavilion in Antalya: an experience of mutual design influences between Italy and Turkey and other Italian projects" .
The Italian Embassy will also organize an event focusing on Italian creativity and design, accessible by invitation only. The best Italian interior design productions will be on show, curated by the firm Mozaik, and introduced by Mr Servalli.
