ENI CEO Descalzi meets Egypt's President Al-Sisi

(AGI) Milan, Oct 19 - The President of the Republic of Egypt,Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, and Eni's Chief Executive Officer ClaudioDescalzi, met on Sunday in Cairo to discuss Eni's activities inthe country. Eni's CEO presented President Al-Sisi with thedevelopment plan for the Zohr field. The parties confirmedtheir joint commitment to accelerate the production start-up ofthe field. They also discussed the possibility of establishinga gas hub in the eastern Mediterranean Sea aimed at making theEgyptian transport and export facilities available for othernearby discoveries.
