Moscow attacks U. S. sanctions on new weapons
(AGI) Moscow, July 4 - Moscow has attacked the U.S. for placingsanctions on new weapons it has introduced. Vice-minister ofForeign Affairs, Srgei Riabkov, said Russia would not beinvolved in a new arms race, but had the right to defenditself. "We have the impression that Washington has come to theconclusion that it is at times simpler and less expensive toapply sanctions, rather than using military force.
