(AGI) Lagos, June 30 - Boko Haram militants slaughtered 50Christians in churches in the northern Nigerian state of Borno,reported local sources. The Islamic fundamentalist fightersattacked with bombs and fired indiscriminately inside thechurches in the villages of Kautikari, Kwada and Neuragali. Theattackers burst in as mass was being celebrated at 8.45 a.m.local time and chased survivors as they fled. At least fivechurches were set on fire and destroyed. The attacks shed newdoubts on the anti-terrorism offensive launched by Nigeriansecurity forces in the northeast, which has been the backdropto Boko Haram's rebellion
