The Days of Russian Culture in Milan with be held at the Russian Pavilion from September 24 to 29, with the support of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation. The Minister of Culture, Vladimir Medinsky is also expected to visit during the Days of Russian Culture in Milan, an occasion to offer the public and journalists a program combining the traditions of Russian folk with dance, singing and music with the new phenomenal names of contemporary Russian culture. In addition visitors can meet contemporary Russian writers, watch films and admire exhibitions.
September 25: Viva Russia!, Russian folk traditions and the new trends in Russian music
On September 25 there will be a big festival dedicated to music, Viva Russia! Many groups will be on stage, including the Provincial Orchestra of Nizhny Novgorod, the Ballet company Peterburgsky souvenir "A. Salomatov" (Saint Petersburg), the Popular and academic-state choir of the North (Arkhangelsk), the Youth Dancing and Singing Group "Altay" (Region of Altay) and the Music School for Children "V.K.Merzhanov" and folk music instruments (Tambov). Contemporary music is also a part of the program and is represented by the band Esthetix (Moscow) and Vougal (Saint Petersburg). September 26 and 27 are dedicated to the literary weekend with the Russian writers Vladislav Otroshenko and Evgeny Vodolazkin who will present their books published also in Italy.

The Open Air Theater at Expo Milano 2015 welcomes the Academic State Ballet of Popular Dance "Igor Moiseev" at 19:00.
On September 28 there will be fashion shows by the best Russian contemporary designers while September 29 will be dedicated to Russian ballet.
Until October 8: the photographic exhibition will take you to Russia… by train
From September 24 to October 8, Expo visitors can admire the exhibition "Russia from a train window" by Anton Lange, one of the top Russian photographers who has immortalized Russia from far south right up to the Arctic Circle.
