No clash of civilisations, says Italian PM Renzi

"Rome must be a bridge between Europe and this region,as Egypt has become a bridge between Europe and the Arab worldand North Africa," he said, adding that Italy has faith inEgypt and its leaders and supports their goals of economicgrowth for the wellbeing of all Egyptians. The challenges Egyptis facing "are also ours", he pointed out, and renewed hispromise to work with Egyptian authorities at all levels,especially in addressing the common threat of terrorism. Hereiterated the need to collaborate in finding a solution to thecrisis in Syria and Libya. Renzi invited Egyptian President AlSisi to visit the 2015 Expo in Milan, to continue the "crucialdiscussion" on the future of the region. (AGI).
