Food, Colors and Music. “Festival Days” at Expo Milano 2015
The Festival Days at Expo Milano 2015 are based on a theme, and are created in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, identified through a food, a color, and a musical style. The content, setting and soundtrack underpin a format that, during the six-month run of the exhibition, will mark certain days. All the elements of the Expo theme: Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, come together in a program of events that allow the audience to experience the essence of Expo Milano 2015 in an atmosphere of celebration and fun. The format is based on three pillars:
- Food, menu only in line with the theme of the evening: where the celebrated ingredient is king
- Colors, where the color of the chosen ingredient rules, with dress code, settings, and fabrics following suit
- Music, along the Cardo and the Decumano the world parade reflects the theme of the day.
The next events scheduled are Bread Day on Monday, June 15, and Pizza Day on Sunday, June 21.
