(AGI) Rome, Mar 10 - Italian Minister of Economic DevelopmentFederica Guidi is due in London on Wednesday on an officialvisit. The main aim of her trip is to outline, to an audienceof City investors, the reform process underway in Italy, andmore particularly within the ministry. In the morningMinister Guidi will join a panel discussion with around 20venture capitalists and angel investors focussing on themeasures already taken and those in the pipeline aiming tofoster new businesses in Italy, especially in innovativesectors. In particular, attention will be paid to steps takento support the ecosystem of Italian startups, including recentfiscal reforms, changes to corporate law and administrativestreamlining. Italian businessmen involved in British startupswill also attend. In the afternoon, in a meeting with 120City investors and operators, Minister Guidi will illustrate ingreat detail such measures as the Investment Compact and theJobs Act, which aim to liberalise business dynamism and bringforeign investment to Italy.
