(AGI) Beirut, Sept 27 - The international coalition fightingIslamic State (IS) militants has bombed the central Syrianprovince of Homs for the first time. Announcing the news, theSyrian Observatory for Human Rights said militant positions inthe Al Hammad area had been hit. Strikes were also carried outon Minbeij, east of Aleppo, in the north of the country, and onthe northern province of Raqqa, an IS stronghold, where 31explosions were heard.
