(AGI) Brussels, July 1- Unemployment remained stable in Europein May, reported Eurostat, the Statistical Office of theEuropean Union. The jobless rate in the eurozone was 11.6percent, stable compared with April 2014, but down from 12.0percent in May 2013. The EU28 unemployment rate was 10.3percent, down from 10.4 percent a month earlier. Italy recordedone of the biggest rises in annual jobless figures in the EU,increasing to 12.6 in May, up from 12.1 percent in May 2013.Eurostat estimated that 25.184 million men and women wereunemployed in the EU28 in May, of whom 18.552 millions were inthe eurozone. This represents a fall over the month before of63,000 in the EU28 and 28,000 in the eurozone. . .
