(VELINO) Roma, 24 Sep - The third edition of Vuelta historicaFelipe Caronti, a race for historic cars, will be held onSunday Sept. 28 in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. As with last year'sedition, the "Coppa del consolato - Italian competition" willbe awarded. The race will start in front of the ConsulateGeneral of Italy where the cars participating in the race willbe on display. The event will be used to promote the economicand commercial offerings of Italy with a special focus on FiatGroup brands, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat, Jeep, and Dodge. Theevent was organised by local associations and by the ConsulateGeneral, which will provide the the venue, and continue its"public diplomacy" activities via monthly weekend cultural andcommercial events. With a series of initiatives, ranging fromstarting the race from the consular office, awarding a prizethat highlights Italian elegance, involving local media and thesocial network, the race is part of a broader programme aimingto revitalise the promotion of Italian industrial excellence insouthern Argentina. Other events which took place were anexhibition of Fiat products at the consular office on open dayat the Consulate General on May 11, and a reception for theItalian national holiday, the Festa della Repubblica, on June2. vel.
