(AGI) Stockholm, Sept 19 - A Pompeii exhibition with a 3Dreconstruction of the luxurious house of the banker CaeciliusIucundus, has opened at the Millesgarden Museum in Stockholm.The opening ceremony was attended by Italian ambassador ElenaBasile, Sweden's Minister of Culture, Lena Adelsohn Lilieroth,the Governor of Uppsala, Peter Egart, and Princess Victoria asa guest of honour. The exhibition is part of a calendar ofevents for the Italian presidency of the EU, along with aconcert by Fabio Vacchi at Konsert Huset and the Italy of theFuture exhibition at the Science Museum. The exhibition will bein Sweden until next May. The Italian Cultural Institute willbe organising many other events, including a lecture at theMillesgarden Museum by Alberto Angela, presenting his new bookon the history of ancient Rome, which also focuses on the mostfascinating aspects of life in Pompeii. The exhibition wasorganised by the museum in association with the Italianembassy, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian TouristBoard (ENIT), together with the Swedish Institute in Rome andthe archaeology department of Lund University.. .
