Student leaders and over 100 others arrested in Hong Kong
(AGI) Beijing, Nov. 26 - Police in Hong Kong have cleared mostof the area in Mong Kok district which had been taken over byprotesters demanding more democracy. At least 116 people werearrested for the unrest which followed the removal ofblockades. These included Lester Shum and Joshua Wong, twoleaders from student movements which led the Occupy Centralcivil disobedience movement. They were arrested on Wednesdaywhile on Nathan Road, in Mong Kok. The barricades on NathanRoad, a major thoroughfare in Mong Kok, were put up at thebeginning of the protest movement, which began September
