Madrid rediscovers Italian poet Guido Gozzano

(AGI) - Madrid, June 17 - Madrid has rediscovered Italian poetand writer Guido Gozzano thanks to the anthology 'Poesia',which was presented in the Missoni Theatre at the ItalianCultural Institute. The work, published by the SpanishRenacimiento in collaboration with the University ofExtremadura, was edited by Jose Munoz, who also wrote theSpanish translation. The counsellor at the Italianembassy, Gaia Danese, stressed the importance of promotingItalian literature abroad as an instrument of 'soft power', andof the support given to the publication and dissemination ofworks of Italian authors abroad by the foreign ministry throughpremiums and contributions to their translation.. .
