Italian cultural autumn programme presented in Chongqing

(AGI) Chongqing, Sept 26 - The recently-established ItalianConsulate-General in Chongqing has organised a programme ofcultural events over the next few months. The Emotions of anItalian Autumn programme includes a series of exhibitions,concerts, seminars and gastronomic events, and will coincidewith the last few months of Italy's presidency of the EuropeanUnion. Italian Consul-General Sergio Maffettone presented theprogramme in one of the city's most famous and crowded shoppingcentres, in the presence of the Deputy Director of theMunicipal Office of Foreign Affairs, Chen Gaoshang. The ItalianSurf Academy jazz group, currently touring China and conducted

The ItalianSurf Academy jazz group, currently touring China and conductedby Marco Cappelli, performed for guests and a crowd of curiouspassers-by, which multiplied during the concert. The group gaveanother live performance the following day at the Faculty ofMusic of the Southwest University of China, in Chongqing.(AGI). .
