FIFTH 'ZONA POEMA' POETRY FESTIVAL OPENED IN MONTEVIDEO

(VELINO) Roma, 11 Jul - The fifth 'Zona Poema' poetry festival,organised by the Italian Cultural Institute, was opened inMontevideo. During the event, poems will be read in 21locations in the capital of Uruguay, until the festival isclosed on July 17. This year's jury appointed by the MarioBenedetti Foundation (Helder Silva, Alvaro Ojeda and LauraFumagalli) will select 21 poems, one for each site. Theselected poems will be 'printed' with adhesive letters in theplace where there were read, as a memento of the event. Theywill also be spread throughout the city on billboards
