(VELINO) Roma, 11 Feb - More than 80 poets from 54 countrieswill gather in Granada for the International Poetry Festival ofNicaragua. Two Italian poets will participate in the event'seleventh edition: Claudio Pozzani and Martha Camfield, bothinvited by the organising committee. The Festival is a massivecelebration of poetry that involves the entire city andneighbouring towns, with recitals, round-table discussions,concerts, folklore events and book fairs. The event has beenorganised with the support of the Italian Embassy in Managua.It is part of the "Year of Italy in Latin America" project,promoted by the Italian Foreign Ministry, the Ministry ofCulture and Tourism, the Ministry of Economic Development, theItalian Trade Commission (ICE) and the Conference of Rectors ofItalian Universities. Many businesses have contributed to thefestival that runs from Feb. 15 to 21. During the "Year ofItaly in Latin America", some 200 events will highlight thecultural, economic, scientific and technological achievementsof modern Italy.
