(VELINO) Roma, 12 Jul - The "Italy of the Future" exhibition was recently opened in Mexico City's Museo de las Ciencias - UNAM Universum, at the presence of Italian Ambassador, Alessandro Busacca. The exhibition is promoted by the Italian Foreign Ministry and organised by the National Research Council (CNR) in partnership with some of Italy's major research institutes: the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna di Pisa (SSUP). It offers an original itinerary to discover Italian points of scientific excellence, spanning from robotics to particle physics, from health care to transportation technologies and the protection and conservation of archaeological and cultural heritage. It is a tour across Italy's innovative potential and its pioneering role at international level, bearing witness to its forward-looking dynamism and capacity to renew itself but based on a culture thousands of years old. The exhibition retraces Italy's centuries-old ingenuity, reflecting an image of the Country on which to advance knowledge in order to improve the living standards of society at large. It will run until 30 October 2016. vel
