Luanda - Italian brand Chicco, specializing in baby and childrens items, opened its first official store in Luanda in an initiative of Top Brands Angola (TBA) that plans to open 10 more similar stores in the next three years. Top Brands-Retail, a company with Angolan capital, which represents major international brands, bet on the childcare sector, bringing the Italian brand Chicco to Angola. The inauguration of the first store brought together hundreds of people, including the brand ambassador in Angola, radio and TV presenter Mara Dalva. According to the executive director of TBA Retail, Paulo Sousa, with the inauguration of this store, the company intends to open another 10 new stores of Chicco brand in every country in a period of three years. There will be four in the capital, Luanda, and the remaining in the provinces of Benguela, Huambo and Hula. The TBA Retail official said that Chicco's official store would make it possible to reduce the shortage of brand products in the country and bring new products with quality and affordable prices. The brand is marketed in Angola in pharmacies and in small commercial establishments, which can not always offer customers a range of branded products. "That's why we decided to make an exclusive agreement for official Chicco brand stores in the country", said Paulo Sousa. The shop has products for children, from new-borns up to the age of 5, including clothing, accessories, expendable material, footwear, toys, baby strollers, as well as postpartum products for mothers. "Our store owes nothing to others around the world. What we have here in terms of furniture and accessories is the same that can be found in Paris, Lisbon or even in Italy", said Paulo Sousa.
