(AGI) Rome, Aug 30 - The La Scala Theatre's Ballet Company is scheduled to tour China this autumn, returning to Tianjin and Shanghai after ten years and also taking the stage in Canton for the first time. The Ballet Company's tour from Aug. 31 to Sept. 17 will feature 15 performances and two productions, showcasing the dancers' versatility and the variety of their repertoire. During the tour, the Company will perform the classical ballet "Giselle" and the more modern "Cello Suites" by Heinz Spoerli, with Bach's famous cello suites No. 2, 3 and 6 played by La Scala's first chair, Sandro Laffranchini. "Giselle" was the centerpiece of the Company's latest seasons and tours in Brazil, Hong Kong, Oman, and Paris.
