(AGI) - Maputo, Jul 7 - China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) plans to increase its business in Mozambique, the company's international business director, Chen Dayong, has announced. According to today´s edition of the daily newspaper, 'Noti'cias', the company, which repairs and provides rail equipment to the public Ports and Railways of Mozambique - CFM, recently signed a contract to sell to Vale Mozambique, a subsidiary of the Brazilian group Vale more than a thousand wagons transporting coal from its mines in Tete province, central Mozambique to the country's international ports on the Indian Ocean coast. Dayong, who said Mozambique has become one of CRRC business partners in Africa, added that the company was negotiating the building of a new modern railway in this Southern African nation of 23 million people, blessed with world class coal reserves. The CRRC currently exports rail equipment to 102 countries worldwide, including Mozambique, employs 175,700 people and has a capital of about USD4.4 billion.(AGI)) .
