Italy inflation rises 0. 3 percent year-on-year

(AGI) Rome, July 15 - Italy's general consumer price index,excluding the price of tobacco products, climbed 0.1 percentfrom the 0.5 percent rise recorded in May and 0.3 percent fromJune 2013, thus confirming estimates, said national statisticsinstitute, ISTAT. The limited rise in inflation is due to theprice drop in non-processed foods and, to a lesser extent, thedrop on an annual basis in the price of processed food,unregulated energy products and household utilities.
