Israeli Chief of Staff proposes Gaza air strikes

(AGI) Jerusalem, July 1 - Chief of Staff Benny Gantz on Tuesdayproposed that the Israeli Cabinet approve air strikes againstHamas bases in the Gaza Strip, according to newspaper Ha'aretz.Gantz's proposal was part of a list of eight "extreme" actionsto be taken in reprisal for the murder of three settlers.
