Ukraine president to extend ceasefire by 72 hours

(AGI) Brussels, June 27 - President Petro Poroshenko is poisedto extend the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine by a further 72hours, European Commission sources revealed on Friday. Theceasefire was due to expire at 10 p.m. on Friday and theprospective extension comes in the wake of Kiev's signing offree-trade and political cooperation agreements with the EU.(AGI) . .
